Executive Director and Producer - Kristina Austin Scarcelli
Kristina resides in Canton, Michigan with her husband Jason and their menagerie of pets. She has nearly 28 years of experience in pageantry. In addition to being our own Mrs. Michigan United States® 2006 and a special award winner at the Mrs. United States® Pageant, Kristina was Miss Michigan Hemisphere 1991 and a runner-up to Miss Ohio 1989 (MAO). She held the local Miss America titles of Miss Central Ohio, Miss Northwestern Ohio, and Miss Toledo and was the recipient of the Miss America Quality of Life Award at her state pageant in 1989. She is a dean’s list graduate of the University of Toledo (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and a personal minor in music. Kristina is the owner / operator of Center Stage Multimedia, an e-marketing firm specializing in the performing arts and pageant industries.
Kristina has also worked as a professional vocalist and musician since 1992. She sings at upscale venues, corporate functions, and private parties and enjoys performing and recording torch jazz, Americana, and country music. She is currently working on a CD of 19th century American folk music.
A highlight of Kristina’s vocal performance career is a tour of Asia in 1994 - 1995, performing 86 concerts for American military personnel stationed there. Her original music has received Gavin-reporting FM radio airplay in the U.S. and has appeared on the top 40 country music charts in Europe. Kristina has opened for several national artists and has performed at venues such as the Opryland Hotel and the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. Her music is featured on iTunes, Amazon.com Mp3, Napster.com, and Rhapsody.com.
Kristina has been an avid history buff since childhood and loves researching her genealogy, visiting battlefields and museums, and attending living history reenactments. She aspires to become a published historical novelist and screenplay writer. Kristina is a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, the Austin Families Association of America, and has been a governor-appointed Honorary Kentucky Colonel for over 10 years.
As Mrs. Michigan United States® 2006, City of Dearborn Mayor Michael A. Guido and the Dearborn City Council presented Kristina with a mayoral citation honoring her for her community service. She was also formally recognized by Dearborn City Council President Thomas P. Tafelski.
During her reign, Kristina made over 100 appearances that included a role in a Lafontaine Automotive Group television commercial on WXYZ-TV Channel 7 (ABC), performing in concert at the 4th Annual Hockey Has Heart Black Tie Celebrity Gala honoring Detroit Red Wings' owners Mike and Marian Ilitch and former Detroit Red Wings' coach Scotty Bowman, and an appearance in America's Thanksgiving Parade, which is broadcast annually to 98 million homes nationwide on WDIV-TV Channel 4 (NBC).
In addition to directing and producing pageants and theatrical productions, Kristina enjoys emceeing and providing vocal entertainment for pageant productions as well as serving as a pageant judge. She has judged such pageants as Miss Wauseon Homecoming, Miss Lucas County (MAO), Miss Northwestern Ohio (MAO), Miss Greater Grand Rapids (MAO), Miss Oakland County (MAO), Teen/Miss/Ms./Mrs. South Michigan and Teen/Miss/Ms./Mrs. Central Michigan. She has also served as judges' host for the Miss Michigan Galaxy Pageant.
Executive Producer - Jason Scarcelli
Jason works as a booking agent for Lorio-Ross Sterling Entertainment, the Midwest's largest talent agency. Specializing in dueling piano shows, Jason is a familiar face in the entertainment industry in Michigan and across the country. He is also the owner / operator of Dueling Pianos International and LRS College Entertainment. Jason is an all-around musician skilled on bass, piano, guitar, harmonica, and as a songwriter.
He began playing bass for his church's praise and worship team at the age of 13 and, at 16 years of age, Jason began touring as bassist for the national gospel act, The Mamreans. Jason graduated from the prestigious Stamps - Baxter School of Music at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee at 18. During his travels with The Mamreans, Jason had the pleasure of performing alongside J.D. Sumner, Jimmy Blackwood, Doyle Dykes, Perfect Heart, and Big John Hall.
Later, while pursuing his Bachelor's degree at Eastern Michigan University, Jason worked as a session musician, contributing to four full-length recording projects. He played bass with the Tri-City Christian Center Praise and Worship team and for several regional blues bands. Most notably, Jason had a brush with fame and fortune as a member of the college-rock band, Blissfield.
Today, Jason continues playing bass in church whenever possible and is a highly sought-after session bassist. He is a BMI-affiliated songwriter and collaborates with his wife, Kristina, on a variety of original music projects. He is also affectionately known to friends and family as Mr. Michigan United States® 2006.
Master of Ceremonies - Jeannette Greco Pawlowski
Jeannette works as a public school teacher and graduated from Madonna University with two separate bachelor degrees in Education and in Public Relations / Marketing.
She is an active volunteer in the community and this year has made numerous appearances at local events to donate her time and efforts to help the organizations that are dear to her heart. Jeannette helps and gives to The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Camp Casey (a therapeutic horseback riding camp for kids with cancer), Generation Rescue (Jenny McCarthy’s organization to help find a cure for autism).
Jeannette is most proud and passionate about her own platform and charity organization Healthy Minds, a cause educating and finding help for adolescent mental illnesses. Teaching children the importance of not only being physically fit, but also being mentally fit!
Jeannette is married to her best friend Michael and they are raising a lovely seven-year-old daughter named Charlotte. Her family resides in Commerce Township and together they enjoy living off Commerce Lake boating and playing on the beach. Jeannette has two dogs a Labrador Retriever named Sandy and her baby a Teacup Yorki named Spanky. She loves hiking and walking her dogs.
Jeannette’s hobbies include taking Latin dance lessons with her husband, cheering on her daughter in all of her activities including coaching her daughter’s cheerleading team. She also enjoys horseback riding, working out, decorating her home, gardening and photography. Her passion for traveling has taken her around the globe to adventures in over 24 countries.
This year, Jeannette took on the job of directing the Lakes Area Michigan Junior Miss Scholarship Pageant. Her first pageant as director will be held November 19, 2010 at Walled Lake Northern High School in Commerce, Michigan. Jeannette is very proud to be the new director of this scholarship program, which gives high school senior ladies in Michigan the opportunity to be awarded many college scholarships.
Assistant Director - Sharolyn Metternich
Sharolyn is the reigning Mrs Michigan U.S. Beauties 2010. She is a proud mother of three and a grandmother of three, almost four. Sharolyn and her husband run their family farm working side by side on over a hundred acres.
She is an avid hunter and sportswoman and encourages women and children to step out of their comfort zone and try the outdoor hunting sports thru her platform "Stepping Out". Michigan has an endless supply of outdoor activities all year round so "Go out and play!"
Sharolyn is an advocate for NWTF Women in the outdoors and Jakes programs, Sportsmen against Hunger, Hunt for a Cure , Newaygo County Sportsmens Club member and founder of The Queen's Garden Project.
Assistant Director - Kelly Cicotte
Kelly is a 38-year-old resident of Woodhaven. In July 2008, she married her best friend of 20 years, Edward Cicotte. She is proud mother of Tyler, who is turning 16 in one month.
Kelly has degrees in Science and Dental Hygiene and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist at Parkside Dental Team for ten years. She is a volunteer for Michigan Make-A-Wish Foundation and an advocate for Children’s Dental Health Awareness.
Associate Producer - Jim Montgomery
Jim has resided in the beautiful community of Manchester, Michigan, about 50 miles west of Detroit, for 20 years. He is a member of several local charitable clubs and is a Legion member. Jim has worked in the printing industry for Malloy, Inc. for over 20 years. His hobbies are working on old classic cars, woodworking, and playing pool.
Jim has six wonderful children: two boys and four girls. His eldest daughter is an engineer, the second-born daughter is an artist, his third daughter is a promising singer and songwriter, and his youngest girl is in college. Jim has one son who recently returned from a tour of duty with the United States Army in Iraq and who enjoys working with electronics and another who works as a singer / songwriter.
Associate Producer - Jim Conklin
Jim is a 51-year resident of Dexter, Michigan. He is the owner / operator of JPC Plaster and Drywall and specializes in historic restoration, cornices, decorative rings, and Venetian plaster.
Jim enjoys playing guitar and singing as a hobby and performs in nursing homes, coffee houses, and around the campfire.
He recently made his musical theatre debut as an ensemble cast member in the Encore Musical Theatre Company’s February 2009 production of “Evita”. Jim also enjoys boating and spending time with his lovely wife Sveta.
Production Assistant – Hayley Eisenhardt
Hayley is a 20-year-old from St. Clair, Michigan, and a junior at Northern Michigan University. She is a pre-law major with plans to become an animal rights attorney. Hayley has been very active in animal rescue for many years and her website, hayleyeisenhardt.com is dedicated to promoting the benefits of adopting older animals. She has even been the spokesperson for the Humane Society of the United States with country singer Carrie Underwood. Hayley has placed over 50 abandoned dogs into their “forever homes” and continues to work with rescue leagues in Michigan to find loving homes for every animal.
She also does modeling and has been a part of the E! Channel’s, “House of Carter” with Aaron Carter, and MTV's “Tiara Girls”.
Production Assistant - Haleigh Fairbanks
Haleigh is the current Miss Oakland County’s Outstanding Teen. Haleigh is a sophomore at Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores, where she is an active participant in many leadership roles.
Her personal platform is Teen Skin Cancer Prevention. Her hope is to educate teens on the dangers of what tanning and over exposure to the sun can do. Her ultimate goal is to encourage young woman to feel beautiful in their own skin and find their beauty from within.
She has partnered with the Skin Cancer Foundation to build a stronger voice that teens will listen to.
Judging Director - Shelly Schutt
Shelly is the owner / operator of Chi Maéra by Shelly Schutt, custom dressmaker for pageants, bridal, prom, and dance. She is the state costume sponsor for Mrs. Michigan United States® 2006 and official seamstress for the Mrs. Michigan United States® Pageant.
She also works as a dental hygienist for in Trenton, Michigan and a sales consultant for Trisha Boutique in Woodhaven, Michigan. Shelly been married for 28 years and has three children.
Shelly enjoys staying active with her church. Shelly has served as costumer for the Downriver Youth Performing Arts Center for over 10 years, providing costumes for numerous productions. She is the curator for the gallery for the Trenton Village Theatre and heads the committee for special events for the theatre, planning balls and fundraisers to further renovate this Downriver gem.
Hospitality Director – Shelley Lance
Shelley holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching K-12 Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University along with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University in Bilingual Education and Spanish. She has taught bilingual elementary education in the Pontiac School District, Elementary Spanish in the Grand Blanc Schools, first grade in the Lansing School District and is currently a literacy coach at Lansing Eastern High School. She also has been a personal trainer and assistant department head of personal training at Lifetime Fitness in Canton, Michigan. Her certifications are with the National Academy of Sports Medicine CPT, American Council on Exercise CPT and Group Fitness and Aquatics Exercise Association.
Shelley graduated from Swartz Creek High School and currently resides in Linden, Michigan on beautiful Lobdell Lake where she and her family enjoy boating and jet skiing. She has one daughter (16) with autism that attends the Lake Fenton School District. Through her title as Ms. Michigan Galaxy 2010, she intends to increase Autism awareness and dedicate time to autism groups.
Shelley also enjoys working with other organizations such as The American Heart Organization, Queen for a Day, March of Dimes and the student organizations at her school.
She is currently engaged to her high school sweetheart, Ken Huffman.
Featured Entertainers - Tonia Deliz and the Deliz DanceSport Two-Steppers
Tonia is the owner of Deliz DanceSport in Wyandotte and has been performing and competing in ballroom dance for the past 22 years. She has won several competitions and top teacher awards throughout the United States and Canada. Tonia has performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and for many fundraisers such as The Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, the Taylor Community and Cultural Arts, and for autism awareness. Bill Fields, Emily Rose and Jim Burns round out the Deliz DanceSport Two Steppers. They are both instructors at the Deliz DanceSport studio, Emily is also an actress, and Bill, who owns American Mattress Gallery in Southgate, has won many country-western competitions.
Featured Entertainer - Angela Venditti
Angela is the current Miss Oakland County. She will compete for the title of Miss Michigan in June 2010. Angela is a senior at Oakland University where she is on the Dean's List. She will graduate with a communication degree.
Angela is a former dance coach and currently a dance teacher for Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation. Her personal platform is Empowering Youth, with a goal of preventing chemical dependency and empowering kids with self esteem. She has worked with various drug prevention organizations like C.A.R.E. of Macomb, S.L.S. (Students Leading Students) and The Upper Room.
Featured Entertainer - Anjelica Francisco
A 22-year-old native of Cassopolis, Anjelica was crowned the 19th Miss Wayne County on September 12, 2009 and is busily preparing for the Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant this summer. She is a graduate student at Eastern Michigan University where she is majoring in psychology. Previously, she attended Cassopolis High School and the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts.
As Miss Wayne County, her platform is "Prevention of Youth Violence and Intimidation". She hopes to obtain a master's degree in clinical social work specializing in sexuality studies and open a private practice specializing in relationship counseling.
Choreographer – Theresa Butkovich
Theresa began her ballet training with Rose Marie Floyd at age four and studied with her for over 14 years where she was trained in the Cecchetti Method. As a student, she was awarded numerous scholarships demonstrating outstanding talent and was invited to attend the Royal Danish Ballet School. She continued to study ballet in New York with renowned teachers at the Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, in England and Paris.
Theresa has performed with the Boston Ballet Company and the Contemporary Civic Ballet Company. She has performed many principal roles. On her return to Michigan, she continued her teaching studies in the Cecchetti Method and now holds the Maestro Enrico Cecchetti Diploma. Theresa currently teaches ballet and Pilates at the Floyd School.
Featured Entertainers - Anna Butkovich, Rebecca Zawodny, and Kayla Joy Perrault
Anna Butkovich is a freshman at Groves High School and studies at the Rose Marie Floyd School of Dance. Rebecca Zawodny just finished her first year at Oakland University where she is studying to be a physical therapist and currently teaches at Rose Marie Floyd’s, where she danced with the Contemporary Civic Ballet Company for twelve years. Kayla Joy Perrault is a sophomore at Southfield High school and is a student at the Rose Marie Floyd School of Dance.
Choreographer - Diane Mancinelli
Diane directs the Henry Ford Community College Dance Program and Full Circle Dance Company. She holds B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from Wayne State University in Detroit. Diane has created and produced three dance concerts for children, ”D is for DANCE”, “Food for Thought,” and “T'was the Night Before Christmas”, for which she has received the Distinguished Service to the Arts award from the State of Michigan and the City of Farmington Hills. In addition to the concerts for young audiences, she has produced and directed 20 Annual Spring Dance Concerts at HFCC. She also received the Dearborn Mayor's Arts Educator Award in 2000.
Diane directs programs off-campus in schools and other venues and brought the college dance company to Italy to perform for the country's biggest summer festival in 2001. Aside from a particular interest in children's dance and theatre and full-time college class teaching, she has choreographed numerous musicals at HFCC.

Featured Entertainers - The Henry Ford Community College Full Circle Dance Company
The mission of the HFCC Full Circle Dance Company is to provide a comprehensive, quality education and a broad spectrum of performance experiences in various genres. Equal emphasis is placed on Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Ballroom and Folk Derivatives. In addition to many performances on and off campus over the last 20 years, the college dance company performed in Italy’s region of Abruzzo in 2001 for one of the country’s most celebrated summer festivals.
Dance company students have attended many American College Regional Dance Festivals over the years, including the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Denison University in Ohio, Southwest Texas State University and many others. Master classes have also been offered at HFCC by professional companies such as the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Eliot Feld Ballet and Maria del Carmen and students have worked with many resident artists from dance companies and universities all over the state. In 2010, the company traveled to Ohio University in Athens for the American College Dance Festival.
Appearing for the company will be Teresa Alvarez, Tanisha Harris, Joi Jones, Jazmin Kirkman, Rachel Porter, D'Andre Reid, Alex Schofield, Alyssa Thomas, Ira Todman, Kyle Turner, Ebony Walker, Cornesia Washington, Christina Wilcox, and Amber Williamson.
Television Coordinator and Video Editor – Daryl James
Daryl has shot many video events around the metro Detroit area over the past decade, ranging from rock band promos, comedy stand-up routines, training and exercise, and numerous weddings, including the wedding of Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson.
In 2004, Daryl established his own video production company, DJLonS-V.G.A. He graduated from Henry Ford Community College (Phi Theta Kappa - Magna Cum Laude) and went on to Almeda University for a degree in Business Administration.
Currently, Daryl is attending the University of Michigan pursuing a degree in electronic communications, where he is holding a grade point average of 4.0.
Hair Artist – Stephanie Buczek
Stephanie received her education at Huron Valley Beauty Academy in Ann Arbor. She has worked with Annekes Hair and Co. and was art director for Tigi Lena from December 2007 to April 2010.
She is the recipient of numerous professional awards and participated in Fashion Forecast 2006 and 2008 NYC, World Relies NYC 2009, and Modern Classics NYC 2009.
Stephanie currently works at DaVinci's Salon and Gallery at 305 S. Main Street in Ann Arbor.
Hair Artist – Lindsaya VanDeusen
Lindsaya has been a licensed cosmetologist for seven years. She has taken a plethora of advanced training classes throughout the world including Italy, Vegas, and Chicago. For the past two years, Lindsaya has held a position on the National Kemon Technical Team. Within this position, she participates in bi-annual hair shows and smaller events, as well as traveling and training others in the field of cosmetology.
Lindsaya maintains a certification as both a Mega Hair and Hairdreams Extension Specialist. She has completed advanced color, cutting, and up-style technique classes with Kemon, Vidal Sassoon, L’Oreal Professional, Toni & Guy, Redken, and Matrix. Her repertoire continues as a Keratin Complex Certified Provider.
Lindsaya is also currently working at Da Vinci’s Salon and Gallery located downtown Ann Arbor and had joined their Creative Team which participates in local photo shoots and fashion shows.
Makeup Artist – Michelle Marie Ouimet
Michelle is a current hair stylist / makeup artist at DaVinci’s Salon and Gallery in Ann Arbor. Although she has been in the industry for about six years, Michelle still makes a point to learn all that she can about the constant growing / changing industry. She not only updates her knowledge on hair trends, she also continues to update her familiarity about the new makeup trends, including airbrush makeup. Having a solid foundation has allowed Michelle to work with the DaVinci Creative Team, doing photo shoots and fashion shows. On the side, Michelle also indulges in local photo shoots, on-site weddings, and anything else she can get herself into.
While working on her career, she has also been working toward a business degree. After making the Dean's List at Grand Valley State University and Eastern Michigan University, Michelle graduated from Washtenaw Community College as a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Society. After making the Dean's List at a third college, she finally got her business degree.
Makeup Artist – Sharla Mohney
With 12 years experience and education from highly recognized industry leaders such as Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, L’Oreal Professional, and many more, Sharla has raised the bar on her talent and experience with haircutting and coloring, as well as formal updressing. In addition to her hair skills Sharla has strengthened her background in makeup making her a dynamic force in the industry.
Sharla has now moved onto honing her skills to do high-fashion freelance hair and makeup for the entertainment and fashion industries. She has been doing local fashion shows and modeling shoots, working towards getting her work published.
