Dr. Elizabeth McGhee, Mrs. Oakland County United States® 2011

Elizabeth McGhee and her husband, Chuck will celebrate their 31st wedding anniversary this year. Elizabeth is the natural mother of their nine children and is also a grandmother. In addition to home educating her children, she is the co-owner and operator of their veterinary clinic in Oxford, Michigan.

Using her resources as a veterinarian and private pilot, Elizabeth is very active in her community as an Oakland County 4H leader, the 2010 director of the Michigan Air Tour and as a Team leader of Medical Missions to Africa.

Elizabeth’s passion is rooted in family emphasizing the importance of creating a legacy to build a foundation for the future. Elizabeth believes the best investment one can ever make is in the life of another human being.

Elizabeth boasts her greatest accomplishment as staying married to the same man for 31 years and still liking him.
