Amber Flynn, Mrs. Wayne County United States® 2010


Amber is the mother of Gavin Flynn, the one-year-old joy of her life. She has been married to her best friend John Flynn for three years.

Amber is a student at Baker College, double majoring in English and Secondary Education. During her free time, Amber is passionate about volunteering as much as possible.

She volunteers at a local women’s shelter and is currently in the process of finishing a book that teaches children who have witnessed domestic violence ways to control their anger in order to stop the chain of violence. She also offers tutoring to low income families for free.

Additionally, Amber has worked with Relay for Life trying to remember those who have lost their battles to cancer. Her hobbies are hosting big family dinners, drawing, and dancing. She takes classes for Salsa and has competed in a competition representing Michigan in a tri-state event.
