Kyla Marcial, Mrs. Southeastern Michigan United States® 2010

Kyla has been married to Michael for almost seven years. They are proud parents of two beautiful children, Malayna, age four and Michael, age two.

Kyla graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She then obtained her master's degree from Wayne State University in social work. Kyla has been a school social worker with special needs children for eleven years. She is currently employed by Warren Consolidated School District. Besides working in the public school setting, Kyla is a small business owner of “Lil Fleur Designs,” making custom hair accessories for girls. She also donates these hair accessories to children who have lost their hair to cancer.

Volunteering has been a part of her life since the age of ten with the Pope John XXIII Hospitality House, a non-profit organization that gives medical attention to children who have life threatening and terminal illnesses. She also volunteers for Make-A-Wish Foundation and is a charity committee member for Feed the Children and Nino Salvaggio Charitable Foundation for Children in Need.

Kyla’s volunteer work and career have led her to promote her platform that is very dear to her heart, “Every Child Deserves a Better Tomorrow.”

Her hobbies include physical fitness, scrap booking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
