Lorilee Gute, Mrs. Shiawassee County United States® 2010


Lorilee is a 34-year-old wife and mother. She graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School in 1993. Lorilee and Michael have been married for over 13 years. They have three boys, Keegan (13), Brendan (10), and Nathan (8).

Michael is a Detective Sergeant for Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Department. A 2008 graduate of Baker College of Owosso, Lorilee is a registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. As a Pediatrics ICU nurse, she takes care of many patients with congenital defects and chronic illnesses. Many of these children will die without organ transplants. For this reason Lorilee is an advocate for Gift of Life, a tissue and organ donation organization. She wants to encourage Michigan residents and America to join the Gift of Life registry.

Lorilee enjoys working with as an Owosso Middle School Cheerleading Coach and with Cheer Etiquette mentoring young women, WIOG Children's Miracle Network Telethon, and Children's Advocacy Center.
