Sharolyn Metternich, Mrs. West Central Michigan United States® 2009

Sharolyn attended Jordan College with a major in accounting. She is a large animal veterinary assistant and a co-owner of Windy Hill Farms which she and her husband Jeff started together.

Sharolyn has three children, Cassandra, Gabrielle and Hunter. Her two oldest daughters are married and have blessed her with three grandchildren. Her two sons-in-law and her oldest daughter are proudly serving in the military.

Sharolyn is a spokesperson for "Hunt for a cure" for cystic fibrosis, and "Women in the outdoors". She also volunteers as a mentor / tutor for Newaygo Public Schools, an organizer for Operation Christmas Child, a worker in the local food pantry, and her local sportsmen's club as the ladies auxiliary secretary.

Sharolyn performs the National Anthem at various professional events. In her spare time she has been a pageant judge and enjoys elaborate wedding cake design, clothing redesign, gardening, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.
