Heather Hillabrandt, Mrs. Southwestern Michigan United States® 2009

Heather Hillabrandt was raised in the small town of Ionia. She graduated from Lansing Community College with an Associates Degree in Travel and Tourism. She met her husband in 1998 and two years later got married. She resides in Ionia with her husband and three adorable children, Kirsten, Garrett, and Leilani. Heather works for Ionia Public Schools as a Paraprofessional.

Heather loves spending time with her family. She reads, sews, quilts, scrapbooks and spends time with her horse. Heather is involved in Girl Scouts as her daughter’s troop leader for the last two years. She recently was the costume director for the Ionia High School production of The Wizard of Oz.

She loves working with children and sees everyday how some kids struggle with reading and math. She would love to see programs put into every school, not just public schools, to help kids with these needs.
