Monika Bemer, Mrs. Wayne County United States® 2008

Monika Bemer has been happily married to her husband Eric for seven and a half years. They are currently planning a family and very much look forward to becoming parents.

Monika was born in Ostrava, Czech Republic. At 19, she took the opportunity to participate in an Au Pair Program and came to live in Plymouth, Michigan. During the year, she met her husband Eric with whom she fell in love and married three years later.

Monika is a member of Detroit World Outreach church where she is actively involved in the prayer ministry. This ministry provides prayer opportunities and biblical guidance to those in crisis.

Monika loves taking care of her three unusual pets, a grey tree frog and two lizards. In her free time, Monika enjoys spending time with her husband, walking in parks, working out, traveling, and preparing herself to be a mom.
