Kimberly Hodsdon, Mrs. Troy United States® 2008

Kimberly is 32 years old and has been married for nine years. She and her husband Richard have a beautiful five-year-old daughter named Julia. Kimberly is a Spanish and English Teacher at Utica High School and is also the Activities Director and Student Council Advisor. She earned her bachelors and masters degrees at Michigan State University.

Kimberly loves to read, write, and works out several times weekly. She enjoys walking and is training for the 2009 Breast Cancer 3 Day / 60 mile Walk for a Cure.

Kimberly has dedicated her life's work to the improvement and advancement of the lives of teens. She is a fundraiser and advocate for The Susan G. Komen Foundation, Alternatives in Motion, and Operation Gratitude. She believes that through volunteerism and charity work, teens can grow into young adults who are team players, leaders, problem-solvers, and active citizens in their communities.
