Lynette Lezotte, Mrs. Northeastern Michigan United States® 2008

Lynette Lezotte is a 33-year-old resident of West Branch, representing beautiful Northeastern Michigan. In May, Lynette will have been happily married to her husband, Ted, for ten years. Lynette and Ted had six children in just over five and a half years. They are: Teddy age nine, Emily age eight, Luke age seven, Ty age five, Elianna age four, and Khy who is three. At this time, Lynette chooses to be a stay at home mom. Lynette loves to take time to get down on the floor and play with her children, especially when it comes to playing Legos and Barbies.

Lynette is a graduate of Houghton Lake High School and has earned a college degree in Accounting, General Business and Business Management. Some of Lynette's hobbies include landscaping, Lego construction, dry-walling, extreme organizing, polka dancing and, of course, cleaning. She also enjoys designing and sewing children's clothing.

Lynette and her husband, Ted, are McDonald's owners / operators. They are both involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities and the four Ronald McDonald Houses across Michigan as well as the national campaign for each charity. Lynette is also active in supporting the Northeastern Michigan Area Schools as well as community events and fundraisers.

Lynette has had a personal experience in the education of her own children that drives her to improve children’s literacy. This experience has Lynette focused on the need to increase awareness and promote the development of programs that will improve the education of children.
